The long lower curve of the Sanskrit symbol represents the dream state, the upper curve, the waking state and the curve issuing from the center symbolizes deep, dreamless state. All of Brenda's work is made by hand. Vessels are thrown on the potter's wheel, burnished to create the smooth finish and Saggar Fired in her gas kiln. Wall murals are formed from stoneware clay, pulled, stretched, altered and carved to create the full-bodied wall murals you see.
